Muthupettai, August 6, 2025<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Departments of Computer Applications and Commerce of Caussanel College of Arts and Science, Muthupettai<\/strong>, jointly organized a seminar on \u201cSafeguarding the Digital World: Cyber Security and Law\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Commerce, and Mrs. R. Suganya<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Computer Applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar began with a welcome address by Prof. Mrs. Sashirekha<\/strong>. Following this, Rev. Bro. A. Edward Francis<\/strong>, Secretary of the College, Rev. Bro. Dr. L. Soosainathan shj<\/strong>, Principal, and Rev. Bro. Dr. T. Arulraj<\/strong>, Dean, delivered felicitations and emphasized the importance of creating awareness about cyber safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Chief Guest<\/strong>, Mr. B. Balachandran, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch), Ramanathapuram District<\/strong>, delivered the keynote address. Mr. A. Ritchadson, Assistant Police Inspector (Crime Branch), Ramanathapuram District<\/strong>, enlightened the students with detailed insights on cyber security measures, online threats, their consequences, and preventive strategies to stay safe in the digital space<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar was graced by the presence of the Vice Principals, Mrs. T.Mahalakshmi<\/strong> and Mr. B.K. MathanNagan<\/strong>, who extended their support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. R. Suganya<\/strong>. The event was efficiently compered by students Maria Medonsa Rimini<\/strong> and Maria Jerline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
