    Industrial Visit

    DigiCom Organised Industrial Visit at Agile Cyber Solutions, Nagercoil
    On September 26, 2025, the Department of Commerce and Computer Applications at Caussanel College of Arts and Science, Muthupettai, successfully conducted an industrial visit at Agile Cyber Solutions, Nagercoil. The visit was coordinated by Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar, Head of the Department of Commerce, and Mrs. R. Suganya, Head of the BCA Department.

    Visit Details

    • Participating Students: A total of 88 students participated in the visit, comprising:
      • 40 final year B. Com students
      • 34 final year BCA students
      • 14 M. Com students
    • Faculty Accompanying: Four faculty members were part of the visit are Mr. B. K. Mathan Nagan, Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar, Mrs. R. Suganya and Mrs. N. Karthigaiselvi
    • Company Interaction: Agile Cyber Solutions divided the students into two groups and provided insights into the contemporary IT industry landscape and BPO operations.
    • Outcome: The interaction enabled students to acquire valuable understanding and knowledge pertinent to industry practices.

    DigiCom Hosts MediConnect-25 at Caussanel College

    Muthupettai, Ramanathapuram – September 10, 2025

    The Department of Commerce & Computer Applications at Caussanel College of Arts and Science, Muthupettai, successfully organized MediConnect-25 at the Angelo Auditorium.

    The event commenced with a prayer led by Ms. Mariya Jerlin (III BCA), followed by a warm welcome address by Mrs. R. Suganya, Head of the BCA Department.

    The program was honored by the presence of distinguished chief guests:

    • Mr. Shaik Muhammad Rizwan, Managing Director of Bawaa Medicals, Ramnad
    • Dr. Saravana Kumar, Chief Dental Surgeon, Vetri Dental Clinic, Ramnad

    Both shared valuable insights on healthcare awareness and preventive practices. The occasion was further graced by Rev. Bro. A. Edward Francis SHJ, Secretary, whose presence marked an important milestone for the department.

    Faculty members, including Mr. B. K. Mathan Nagan and Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar, Head of the Commerce Department, actively participated. Key highlights of the program included:

    • Awareness on dental care services
    • Diabetes management and screening
    • Blood pressure monitoring and checkups

    The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mrs. S. Kavitha, Assistant Professor in Commerce.

    A total of 210 students and 22 faculty members benefitted from free health screenings conducted during the event, making MediConnect-25 a meaningful and impactful initiative.

    Website Launch & Delish Delight-25

    DigiCom Website Launch & Delish Delight-25 Rocks Caussanel College

    Muthupettai, Ramanathapuram District – September 3, 2025:
    The Department of Commerce and Computer Applications at Caussanel College of Arts and Science proudly launched the DigiCom website and hosted the vibrant Delish Delight-25 event at the Angelo Auditorium.

    The program began with a solemn prayer by Mr. Kameedhu Hasan, Student President of DigiCom, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar.

    Distinguished guests Mr. Gautham, Managing Partner of Samsung Smart Plaza, Ramnad, and Mr. Mohamed Yusuf Ali, Co-founder & CEO of Nexxus Digital Solutions LLP and Founder of Ramnad Views & BFG Studio, shared valuable insights that inspired both students and faculty.

    The highlight of the day was the official launch of the DigiCom website by Rev. Bro. A. Edward Francis SHJ, Secretary, marking a milestone in the department’s digital journey.

    The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Bro. Dr. L. Soosainathan SHJ, Principal, Rev. Bro. Dr. Arul Raja SHJ, Dean, along with Mrs. T. Mahalakshmi and Mr. B. K. Mathan Nagan, Vice Principals. Faculty members and students from both departments participated actively.

    The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mrs. R. Suganya, Head of the Department of Computer Applications.

    Through Delish Delight-25, students not only showcased their creativity but also enriched their knowledge of business and trading activities, making the day a memorable and educational experience.
